Tehran gets spooky with mysterious boulders

Tehran gets a bit spooky here with large rocks at the westernmost point of the Iranian capital.   

In the Iranian capital city of Tehran towards its westernmost part lies a stunning hidden gem called Vardij village.

You can enjoy the calm and serene beauty of the village with somewhat scary boulders along the way. 

In the village at the foot of the Alborz mountains, there are boulders with special shapes reminding the viewer of the human skull and the bodies of wild animals more than anything else. For some people, the shapes of the rocks conjure up living things turning into stone.
